Massachusetts' attorney general has broadened its legal challenge against prediction-market operator Kalshi, adding fresh allegations that the platform marketed sports-betting products to young users. According to Cointelegraph, a judge granted the amended complaint on Tuesday, allowing the state to pursue expanded claims against the company.
What the Amended Complaint Alleges
The revised filing introduces allegations that Kalshi targeted people under the age of 21 through social media and promotional activity on university campuses. As reported by Cointelegraph, those new claims were folded into the case after the court permitted the amendment.
