LeapXpert, a company building secure communication tools for regulated businesses, has secured $180 million in a multi-stage growth round, signalling a broader shift in enterprise software away from passive message storage toward active, AI-powered conversation analytics. As Ventureburn reported, the round was led by private equity firm Riverwood Capital, with continued backing from Portage Ventures.
For banks, multinationals and government agencies operating across the Africa–Europe corridor, the deal points to a growing market for tools that reconcile everyday messaging habits with strict compliance and data sovereignty rules.
